Job description

For our client, a large (inter)national player in Eeklo, we are looking for a Forklift driver. This in a 2-shift regime.

For this vacancy, we are looking for someone who is keen to perform the following tasks every day.

You will be responsible for safe and smooth execution of palletisation. This means that you will nicely place the finished goods on location within the dispatch department.
Your focus here is about 70% on forklift and reach truck work, 30% manual work.

Besides driving a forklift, you will also have to work with a scanner linked to a computer in the forklift.

Shipping involves very good care. That is why you will also be responsible for operating the film wrapper and label printer.

You will also be responsible for all interventions.

Your profile

For the vacancy of Forklift driver you can tick off the following competences:

  • the forklift truck (and/or reach truck) holds no secrets for you, a first experience with this is certainly required

  • a certificate is a big plus

  • you have a practical attitude and think outside the box
