Job description

Reporting to the European Distribution Manager, this position will be in charge of ensuring the best possible support to our customers and sales representatives. The front office has the immediate objective of satisfying the client. It is a section that directly interacts with customers and will be designated Single point of contact of a portfolio of clients depending on product line (spares or units).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
1. Being a reliable single point of contact for customers - Managing a portfolio of clients: answering all clients requests such as pricing, lead times, RFQ’s…
2. Manage a large amount of incoming emails and answer inbound calls
3. Ensure prompt answers to customers‘ requests and inquiries in 48 hours,
4. Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction; search customer feedback and implement customer suggestions when possible/required
5. Organize periodical meetings with clients (Teams, on site visits) when required.
6. Manage and follow-up customers KPI’s : construct data reports and present to management
7. Manage customer claims and liaise with other departments to find a satisfactory solution to client.
8. Maintain and update customer service database and reporting to management
9. Conduct surveys to rate the customers when required,
10. Chasing suppliers/planning to insure quick answers to clients,
11. Communicating and coordinating with back-office for Priorities.
12. Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues as needed.
13. Back-up colleagues (back or front office) when required
14. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and policies.
15. Other tasks as assigned by manager

Your profile


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position within industrial sector

  • Fluent in French & English, knowledge of other languages is an asset

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products

  • ERP literate (JD Edwards is an asset)

  • Accurate, organized, customer-oriented

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solver

  • Interested to work in a cross-functional team within a global environment.

  • Familiar with technical information is a plus
