Job description

As a Tinsmith, you will be responsible for repairing the bodywork of vehicles. You will repair or replace damaged parts and carry out activities such as disassembly, assembly, sheet metal work, alignment, preparation & finishing. You work in a team and consult directly with the Branch Director.

Below you can find a description of the function:


  • Perform the necessary bodywork repairs based on a work order, for cars of various brands

  • Smoothing out bodywork parts

  • Replacing damaged parts

  • Applying elementary welding procedures according to regulations

  • Repairing and finishing plastic parts

  • Dismantling and assembling mechanical vehicle parts

  • Performing checks on the drive, suspension, and chassis

  • Treating dented surfaces before they are painted (cleaning, filling, sanding)

  • Sanding new parts

  • Precisely masking, dusting, and degreasing the vehicles

  • Applying primer coats




Your profile


  • You have already gained some experience in the Bodywork field

  • Preferably you have followed a BSO/TSO direction in Automotive Techniques/Bodywork

  • You can work orderly & are very precise

  • Quality is your priority

  • You describe yourself as eager to learn & are always open to mastering new techniques or to follow trainings
