Job description

For this vacancy, we are looking for a driver at heart. Are you a "rookie" in the business or have you always had a huge desire to learn container transport? This is your chance! You will leave in the morning around 5 a.m. at the company in Waaslandhaven. During busy periods (April, May, June) this can also be at 4 am. Your cargo consists of paper, drinks, exotic fruit, airbags, etc. You bring containers from point A to point B, many small routes of about 13 containers per day. You work +/- 12 hours a day during busy periods this can increase. You have the opportunity to stay overnight twice a month or you can choose to do this every week.

As a driver, you recognise yourself in the description below:


  • You hold a valid CE driving licence with code 95

  • You are flexible in terms of hours

  • Experience is a plus but not a requirement

  • You already have tractor-trailer experience

  • Ideally you have an ADR 2 certificate or want to obtain this via the company

  • You speak fluent Dutch OR English OR French

  • You are aware of the valid driving and resting times

  • You are someone with a lot of patience and are not bothered by long waiting times at the docks
