Job description

As a roof carpenter, your workday starts at 6:30 am on the construction site. You are responsible for your own transportation to a pick-up point nearby or you drive the van to pick up the rest of the crew. Our construction sites are spread all over Belgium. Together with a team of roofers, you are responsible for the roofing carpentry work. You will work on unique sites at historic buildings. As a roof carpenter, you are accustomed to working at heights, our roofs are at least 20 meters high. As a restoration roof carpenter, you will try to restore as much as possible. If this is not possible, you will replace. You work in a traditional manner but with modern equipment which enables you to achieve the required results. Your workday ends at 3:30 pm and you leave the construction site tidy.

Your profile

You have experience as a roof carpenter or as a joiner and are comfortable working on a roof
You have experience in restoration, or have a keen interest in learning this
You have no fear of heights and can easily work on a church roof
You have a driver's license B
You speak and understand Dutch fluently
You have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain it
