Accent, founded in 1995, is a talent placement company with the largest specialised office network in Belgium (300 offices and over 1,200 own employees). Accent provides employment for more than 25,000 people every day and is part of House of HR, an international holding company consisting of a number of specialised companies active in Human Resources. 

As a talent placement company, we are an important link between talent on the labour market and employers. For jobseekers, we are a job coach, identifying and helping them discover or develop their talents. For companies, we are a true HR partner, not only looking for the right talent for the right job, but also providing advice and support to retain that talent.

In April 2017, we launched NOWJOBS, together with House of HR. NOWJOBS is an entirely digital application and our response to the further digitalisation of the recruitment market. Through the innovative and extremely user-friendly app, we match people wanting to earn an additional income with companies that often need to fill temporary staff shortages quickly, mainly in the hospitality, events and retail sectors. The employer posts the vacancy online and chooses the candidate. NOWJOBS takes care of the rest. Oh, and have we also mentioned that these workers are paid within 24 hours? Ka-ching.

GiGHOUSE guarantees quality through an in-depth matching process focusing not only on competencies and skills, but also on a cultural fit between freelancer and client. In addition, GiGHOUSE offers support to single freelancers, who can always turn to their team for first-line advice. It’s a digital platform powered by humans!

JobRoad ivzw’s mission is that every person has the right to participate fully in social life. Their vision is that work is the most important integrator in this. This CSR project was born out of a collaboration between Accent, House of HR, VDAB and VOKA, but has since evolved into an independent, international non-profit organisation focusing on vulnerable target groups in the labour market. The strategy put forward by JobRoad to ensure that everyone at a significant distance from the labour market can participate in society rests on three integrated pillars: activation, training and awareness-raising. We take everyone by the hand from the moment they first receive information to their first day at work.

A community of experienced over-60s

People over 60 who are motivated and committed to contribute to society even after they retire can knock on the door of start-up Sixie after their active careers have ended. The Sixie team seeks temporary and project-based assignments that are tailored to their wishes from companies or public administrations looking for experience, knowledge and temporary reinforcement. Over-60s can work with Sixie as temporary agency workers or freelancers because we have no intention of letting so much great experience go to waste. Age does not matter, attitude does!

Talent Lab was founded in 2020 with a clear goal: to support companies in attracting, retaining and developing people. The HR market is more dynamic than ever, and companies are finding it increasingly difficult to net the right profiles. That is why Talent Lab partners with its clients to “mould” talents by training candidates. On the one hand, existing talents in the company are developed further so that expertise and managerial positions can be filled internally (upskilling). On the other hand, inexperienced or unskilled candidates are retrained using basic training to make them employable and ready to receive further on-the-job training (reskilling). Companies that do not yet have the know-how themselves to make this happen can turn to Talent Lab for HR support. Experienced recruiters can be deployed at companies on a project basis to provide practical HR advice.
