Job description

As a car mechanic in the Knokke-Heist region

  • You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles such as cars, trucks, etc

  • You will regularly check and inspect brakes, tyres, engine, lights, etc.

  • You diagnose and, based on this diagnosis, repair and adjust the vehicle. For this, you also use the manufacturer's data or the instructions of your boss.

  • Building in electrical and electronic options, detecting and repairing any defects.

  • You repair, fit and replace tyres.

  • Change oil and lubricate a vehicle.

  • Perform and repair thorough checks on the engine, clutch, gearbox, drive train, suspension, brakes and chassis.

  • Repair various systems such as climate control, ABS, airbags, etc

  • You are responsible for installing, checking and tuning LPG systems.

  • You track down malfunctions using test and diagnostic equipment.

  • Maintaining air-conditioning systems in vehicles.

  • Replace your car windows if required.
