Public Holidays Are a Nice Extra

Each of these public holidays has its own charm and significance, but they all have one thing in common: they offer a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy some free time. For employers, however, it is a moment to keep a close eye on planning. Such an extra day off obviously impacts productivity and deadlines.

Different for Each Employer or Sector

Public holidays can also pose challenges in the workplace, for instance in sectors such as healthcare and hospitality where work continues 24/7. In these cases, there are often special arrangements or bonuses to compensate employees.

To Enjoy or to Earn Extra

Whether you're looking forward to a long weekend away, just an extra day to sleep in, or prefer to earn a little extra money? How you spend the public holidays is entirely up to you.
