You work as a bulldozer operator (wheel loader) in the port of Antwerp. You are part of the production team and report directly to the Plant Manager. You work closely with operators and other bulldozer operators in a dynamic, industrial environment where safety and teamwork are central.
- You are responsible for loading and storing raw materials when unloading ships and trucks
- You deposit the correct materials into the correct hoppers in the raw materials hall, thereby starting up the production process
- For certain materials, such as blast furnace slag, you ensure that they enter the drying process via the hopper
- You carry out general maintenance and cleaning work on the site
- After each shift, you maintain, lubricate, clean and refuel the wheel loader
- During maintenance periods of the factory, you work with the maintenance team and, if necessary, operate other equipment such as a bobcat or forklift
- You actively think along about possible improvements in the processes
- Working in a close-knit team with a good atmosphere

Our client is part of an international group and operates from two locations in Belgium: the port of Antwerp and Rieme near Ghent. They employ around 40 FTEs. They produce and supply all classic types of cement (CEM I to CEM V) within the Benelux and France. They have their own laboratory where they test and research the composition of their products. In addition, they handle the transport of their products to customers in-house, both by road via their sister company and by water with other partners.
