Vacation days
Holiday and leave are granted in accordance with the Belgian transport sector (PC 140) and legal provisions for drivers.
You depart from a fixed base location in Belgium and drive nationally and possibly internationally (neighboring countries). You work with customized vehicles for the transport of live animals and follow a clear schedule.
Task package – Truck Driver CE (Livestock and Straw Transport)
As a CE driver, you are responsible for safely and correctly performing transport assignments, with a focus on livestock and straw transport within Belgium and abroad. Your tasks include:
- Transporting live animals (mainly livestock), with respect for animal welfare and applicable laws and regulations.
- Loading and unloading animals in a calm and careful manner, where experience or affinity with animals is an asset.
- Transporting straw, agricultural machines, and accessories, both nationally and internationally.
- Loading and unloading straw bales and machines, with proper attention to stability, safety, and efficiency.
- Properly managing transport documents, including trip sheets, export/import papers, health certificates, etc.
- Checking and keeping onboard documents, permits, and other required papers for transporting animals or agricultural goods in order.
- Taking care of a clean and well-maintained vehicle, where you timely signal small defects or irregularities.
- Flexibly adapting to changing trips or routes, depending on planning or transport conditions.
- Working with specialized equipment for livestock transport

You work for a transport organization specialized in livestock transport of large animals such as cows and calves.
