Job description
Within this job, you drive a truck with a trailer. Additionally, as a “Driver CE + ADR,” you are also responsible for the following tasks:
- Securing large containers for, for example, container parks and large industrial customers. So, no boring day just behind the wheel, but a healthy mix of driving, physical work, and personal contact with customers, planners, and colleagues
- When completing the routes, you take into account driving and rest times and traffic regulations
- You are responsible for the order and cleanliness of the truck and you perform first-line maintenance
- You report your performance daily via a daily report
- You start your workday every day at the yard in Roeselare
Your profile
For this vacancy in Roeselare, we are looking for a versatile driver with a CE driving license
- An ADR certificate is a plus, but not a requirement
- You understand and speak Dutch or French very well
- Do you have several years of experience as a truck driver? Then this is an advantage
- Experience with container transport is not required, but you are of course willing to learn it
- You like to switch work shifts, helping your colleagues and learning new things
- Physical work does not scare you
- Safety is your priority! You like to spend many hours on the road, following all traffic rules precisely and not losing sight of anything
- You like to work alone and you can easily stand your ground
- Do you find yourself in a difficult situation? You know what to do and your great sense of responsibility ensures that you perform the tasks safely with sufficient skill and care
