Job description

As an operator in this metal processing company, you are able to contribute to several stations along the production line. The following tasks will be assigned to you:

  • Together with your colleagues, you operate the machine line

  • You ensure the line can keep running by supplying enough material and taking off the finished products

  • In case of minor malfunctions, you intervene and look for a solution. If necessary, you call the technical team

  • You will be working with heavy metal plates, so all movements are done using the overhead crane. You will operate it according to the correct safety regulations

  • At the end of the chain, the trucks are loaded, and you will take care of this as well with the help of the overhead crane

For the job of operator, we are looking for someone who recognizes themselves in this description:

  • Safety is your priority, you always work safely and ensure a tidy working environment

  • You can communicate clearly in Dutch with your colleagues.

  • Have experience with the overhead crane? Great. If not, you will learn it on the job

  • The metal sector appeals to you, experience is not necessary, motivation is important.
