Job description

For the position of gardener team leader in the region of Wespelaar, your daily schedule will be filled with the following tasks;

  • Assist in setting up or maintaining gardens at companies and private individuals

  • Act as the main link between architect, employer, clients, and your colleagues in terms of communication

  • Execute the designed plan as precisely as possible and direct your colleagues in this

  • Operate mechanical or electrical equipment such as a lawn mower, hedge trimmer, chainsaw, and brush cutter

  • Keep track of maintenance and defects of materials and report shortages in stock in a timely manner

  • Work with fertilizers and pesticides

  • Be responsible for mowing lawns, weeding, trimming hedges, and pruning plants

  • Check the work performed, make adjustments where necessary, and only deliver the site when it is PERFECT for you


Your profile

For the vacancy of team leader in horticulture in the Wespelaar region, the following profile reflects your capabilities;

  • You have an education in construction or horticulture

  • You have knowledge of garden maintenance and plants

  • You like to roll up your sleeves and have insight in task distribution

  • You have leadership skills, and both directing and adjusting come naturally to you

  • You are knowledgeable about tools and materials

  • You are versatile and can adapt to different work and hours

  • You enjoy interacting with customers and can create a good atmosphere in your team

  • You are in possession of a valid driving license B (BE is a plus)
