Job description

For a vacancy at a company specialising in metal, we are looking for someone with experience in metal and with initial experience with a forklift who will also be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You take care of receiving, storing, preparing as well as distributing and preparing the goods.

  • You will check the load and collect orders.

  • You have regular contact with internal and external customers and suppliers.

  • You work on the computer via specific computer programmes for warehouse management.

  • Use machines to facilitate loading and unloading.

  • Need to work with hazardous goods or substances.

  • Manage necessary administration.

  • Do an inventory of goods.

  • Apply packaging techniques.

  • Use a scanner to read codes.

  • Organise the placement of goods.

  • Provide product information.

  • Apply labels and classify goods.


Your profile

For a metal company in Ruiselede, we are looking for a warehouseman with forklift experience who fits the following profile

  • Forklift experience (certificate is a plus)

  • Speak, understand and be able to read Dutch

  • Experience in the metal industry

  • Team player

  • Motivated
