Oleksandr Work Succes

During our conversation, it came to light that Oleksandr began his career as a kitchen assistant in Ukraine. Over the years, he gained vast experience, honed his skills, and became an indispensable member of the kitchen team.

Unfortunately, due to the difficult political situation in Ukraine, Oleksandr made the decision to leave his homeland. He came to Belgium in search of, as he put it, "a better life and new experiences."

Together with his friend, they rented a room through Airbnb, which cost a fortune. There for, Accent's goal was to find a job and assist him to find a house as quickly as possible. After talking with Olek, we immediately started our search. Very quickly we obtained several interviews for him and in one of the restaurant in Sint-Niklaas, the head chef relying on experience, decided to give him a chance. He was invited  for a trial day, which turned out to be successful. The client decided to continue the collaboration because, as he said, "I have a good feeling that he is a cool and talented chef, even though he had to improve his language."

Accent immediately helped him to find accommodation and a bike so, that he could commute to work easily.

Oleksandr took the opportunity, demonstrating his dedication, motivation, as well as skills, all these being highly appreciated by the kitchen manager. Since November, Oleksandr has had a permanent employment contractand as he said, "I couldn't have dreamed of a better restaurant, a better team than the one I am currently in."
