European national driving licence
The European national driving license is any driving license issued by a Member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area.
If you have a driving license issued in one of the EU countries, it will be recognized throughout the European Union. Therefore, if you move to another EU country, you do not usually have to exchange your driving license. You can continue to drive with it as long as it is valid:
- Code95
- Medical examination
- Tachograph card
