Since 7 May 2024, we have held the EcoVadis Committed Badge. EcoVadis is a leading platform that assesses and ranks companies worldwide on the basis of their sustainability performance. With our Committed Badge, we belong to the top 47% of all companies rated by EcoVadis. The four themes on which we were assessed are: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The Committed Badge shows that not only does Accent meet EcoVadis’ performance criteria, it also continuously pushes itself to raise the bar and serves as an example within the sector. This badge therefore encourages us to keep on building a solid sustainability policy.

On 23 April 2024, we were granted the Actiris Diversity Label for the 2022-2023 D&I Plan that we carried out successfully. A goal to which every Accenter contributed. Our D&I Plan includes 15 concrete actions, with three absolute highlights:

• HR policy: for our internal recruitment policy, the first acquaintance with new candidates is not their CV but a cultural fit test.
• Open-minded hiring: we propose our candidates to companies using anonymous CVs to eliminate unconscious biases in a selection process to the greatest extent possible.
• Inclusive neutrality: we create a working environment in which everyone is welcome and can and must be themselves.

The fact that we have now been officially recognised for this gives us that extra boost to ensure that we achieve excellent results with our D&I Plan for 2024-2025 as well. Let’s do this!

With sustainability ever higher on the agenda, quality assurance is becoming even more important. After all, quality is a decisive decision argument when choosing a good HR partner, one that guarantees the right fit through an accurate analysis and via the right processes.

We are therefore very proud of the Recruitment, Search & Selection (RSS) quality label and also the career guidance quality label that we were awarded once again by our sector federation Federgon on 26 March 2024. Thanks to these labels, we are recognised as a guide for the Back to Work Fund, among other things.

HR Excellence Awards

On 14 March 2024, Accent was the only HR company to be awarded not one, but two awards at the HR Excellence Awards. In the Best Employer category, we achieved recognition for Best Diverse, Equitable & Inclusive Workplace. In the Best HR Service Provider category, we received exclusive congratulations from the judges with a ‘Special Jury Recognition of Excellence.

Accent was awarded a prize at the second edition of the Trends Impact Awards on 25 October 2023. With the ‘open-minded hiring, the key to inclusive recruitment’ project, we won the award for ‘Inclusion and Diversity’. The Trends Impact Awards highlight organisations and projects that have a positive and sustainable impact on our society.
