For this roofer vacancy in the Nijlen region, you literally step up onto the roof. Together with the owner – a craftsman with years of experience – you work on various residential roofs in and around Nijlen. You assist with laying tiles, slates, installing roof windows, insulation, roofing, and EPDM. No two days are identical, but they are equally fascinating.You leave in the morning from the warehouse in Nijlen or drive directly to the siteYou work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with enough time afterward to do something enjoyableYou support both new construction and renovations of private homesYou work safely at height with ladders, scaffolding, and harnessesYou assist in the installation of wooden roof structures and carpentry workYou work neatly, ensuring materials are used and cleaned up properlyYou contribute to thinking about an efficient approach at the siteYou are guided by a calm, patient mentor who proudly passes on his trade

As a roofer for pitched roofs, you will work on the installation and renovation of pitched roofs with tiles and natural slates.Your tasks include:Removing existing roof coveringsCorrectly sorting materials and keeping the site orderlyInstalling insulation materialsFinishing pitched roofs with tiles and/or natural slatesInstalling gutters and rainwater drainage systemsEnsuring a neat and high-quality finishWorking daily at height with a focus on safetyLeaving the site clean after the workCollaborating with roofers, roof carpenters, and zinc workers 

Pitched roof roofer

As a roof carpenter / roof joiner, you are responsible for the wooden structure of sloping roofs. You play an important role in both renovation and restoration projects.Your tasks include:Measuring, marking up, and preparing roof structuresInstalling and repairing wooden roof trusses such as rafters, purlins, beams, and wall platesStrengthening existing roof constructions during renovationsReading and interpreting technical plansInstalling dormers, roof overhangs, and roof edge finishingMounting underroofing, counter battens, and roof battensWorking with both traditional and modern wood jointsUsing professional woodworking machines and toolsCollaborating with roofers, metalworkers, and crew leadersWorking safely according to the applicable regulations, especially when working at heights 

Roof Carpenter

As a roof carpenter, you will assist in the installation, repair, and finishing of wooden roof structures.Your tasks include, among others:Installing wooden roof trusses such as rafters, purlins, and beamsWorking based on technical plans and 3D modelsCarrying out renovation and restoration work on existing roof structuresWorking with traditional and modern wood jointsInstalling under-roofs, dormers, and roof windowsFinishing roof overhangs and roof edgesPreparing constructions in the workshopAssembling and finishing constructions at the siteWorking with professional woodworking machines and toolsHelping ensure a safe and clean work environmentTimber frame construction and facade cladding may also be part of your responsibilities.

As a flat roof worker in the Antwerp region, you are open to the following tasks:Installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofsApplying roofing materials such as tiles, slates, EPDM, and roofingPerforming insulation work and roof inspectionsInstalling gutters, downpipes, and other roof accessoriesReading and executing technical plans and specificationsEnsuring a safe workplace and collaborating with colleagues and other professionals 

• You install exterior joinery such as sun protection, screens, patio covers, awnings, wind screens• You work with wood, aluminum, or PVC• You are involved in new construction and renovation projects• You have an eye for detail• You can anticipate unforeseen circumstances• If necessary, you cut or adjust small parts on-site• You install the different pieces and finish them with the correct materials• Precise and high-quality work is a must• You strictly follow the safety rules and use the provided protective equipment

As an installer, you are responsible for the delivery of poured floors to professional clients. You report directly to your team leader.Your tasks include, among other things:Loading and unloading materials;Installing poured floors;Finishing poured floors;Monitoring stock management;Reporting deliveries.
