You ensure the maintenance of technical installations and equipment and make sure that everything works properly. You repair machines, detect and solve malfunctions. You replace parts and assemble them according to the regulations. You track down and resolve various problems in process components in the field of electricity, pneumatics and mechanics. Knowledge of hydraulics is an advantage.

Maintenance Technician - Day - Full time

You maintain the gates preventively and ensure the inspection of all parts of the fire-resistant gates.You replace any defective parts during maintenance activities.You work systematically and accurately based on a checklist.You carry out interventions and repairs on our fire-resistant gates.You identify defective parts and replace them during repairs or maintenance activities.You perform repair works based on the quotation.You ensure the perfect functioning of our products, thereby safeguarding their quality and safety.After completing the work, you report back to the internal service.

Starting up and checking energy and utility suppliesSetting up installations and carrying out adjustments according to safety rulesPerforming planned maintenance and small repairsAssisting with the installation of new machinesResolving technical malfunctions and general technical problemsCorrectly connecting chemicalsWorking with a cherry picker if neededKeeping track of your work in digital systems or on work sheetsContributing to a safe and tidy workplace 

Maintenance Technician

As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for mechanical interventions, repairs, and maintenance work at various clients.You work independently or in a team with colleagues and ensure that installations continue to operate safely, efficiently, and sustainably.Concretely, this means:Performing mechanical maintenance on machines and installations.Executing repairs and replacements of parts (shafts, bearings, drives, pumps...).Welding steel and stainless steel (TIG, MIG/MAG) during repairs or structural modifications.Contributing to improvements of maintenance plans and checklists.Providing feedback to the client and your project leader within Vytech.Quickly responding to unexpected situations or malfunctions. 

As a Service Technician, you will be on the road daily for the installation, repair, and maintenance of conveyor belt installations at our customers. You will also coat the various components of the conveyor belts with rubber and plastic to prevent wear. You will mainly work with customers in the (medium) heavy industry, such as companies located in the port area. Your travel will be between the ports of Ghent, Antwerp, and Zeeuw-Vlaanderen. Your daily tasks are: Preparing conveyor belts Installing conveyor belts and the corresponding components at customers Inspecting conveyor belts and components Maintenance &amp; repairs of conveyor belts Coating different surfaces with rubber and plastic to prevent wear. 

Service Technician

For the job as an electrician, you are responsible for the following tasks:Installing and building panels in the workshopInstalling car washes on locationPerforming repairs and troubleshooting

As a service technician for the Antwerp port region, you will go from customer to customer.You perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts, warehouse trucks, stackers, (electric) pallet trucks, and other rolling equipment.You diagnose, repair/maintain, and report.Are you not yet an expert in forklifts?Then you can work alongside our experienced technicians for a while until you can hit the road independently.

Perform maintenance and repairs on professional cleaning machines (high-pressure cleaners, trailers, sweeping and scrubbing machines), both in our workshop and at the customer's location.Installing and assembling various high-pressure and washing installations together with your colleagues.Managing the complete repair file: preparing quotations, ordering parts, following up and repairing.Preparing materials and documents for each assignment.Giving advice to colleagues about efficient preparation and providing technical support.Working in a family-run, modern workshop with variety and internal training courses.
