Job description

In this exciting job, you will be part of a permanent team of drivers that provides transportation for our products from Destelbergen. You will have the following responsibilities:


  • Daily transport of packaged meats to domestic customers (wholesale and retail – central depots)

  • Contributing to the transport of finished products or semi-finished goods between our five Belgian sites

  • Loading, unloading, and neatly placing goods at customers as an ambassador of our company

  • Collaboration with various departments within our company, including planning, empties, and customers

  • Reporting to the section leader


Your profile

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:


  • Possession of a category CE driver's license

  • Compliance with legal requirements such as a driver's card, code 95, and medical examination

  • Able to work independently, punctually, and accurately

  • Take care of the truck, comply with the road code, and respect driving and resting times

  • Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus

  • Experience in temperature-controlled transport and knowledge of HACCP is an additional asset

  • Willingness to work a full-time 4-day week with a variable day off
