Must-haves for this job

  • You have a degree in mechanics, electromechanics or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent level through experience.
  • You have experience with setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
  • You can read and correctly interpret technical drawings.
  • You have knowledge of measuring tools such as a caliper, micrometer and height gauge.
  • You have basic knowledge of machining techniques, materials and tools.

As a CNC miller, you work on the production of dies, molds and precision parts for industrial applications.

  • You set up CNC milling machines and operate them during the machining of workpieces.
  • You read technical drawings and work orders and translate them into a correct machine setup.
  • You clamp workpieces and select the right tools for each machining operation.
  • You monitor the machining process and adjust programs when necessary.
  • You perform quality checks and measurements on finished parts.
  • You work together with colleagues from engineering and production and help ensure a neat and safe workplace.
