Must-haves for this job

  • You have demonstrable experience as a formwork carpenter, rebar worker, or in the precast concrete industry.
  • You can interpret technical plans and detailed drawings without any problems.
  • You have knowledge of reinforcement techniques and/or formwork systems.
  • Experience with spot welding is a big asset.
  • You work precisely, place great importance on safety, and deliver high-quality work.
  • You are enthusiastic, a true team player, but can also function well independently.
  • You are physically fit and have no objections to physical labor.
  • You have experience operating a crane or possess a valid certificate for this.

Vacation days

The company follows the official construction leave and is during these periods collectively closed.

You will work at a production site in Bruges, a location with a rich tradition that has been active in the precast concrete industry since 1948. This facility focuses on the production of prestressed concrete floor slabs, I-beams with fixed and variable heights, standard bridge beams, TTX floor elements, and prestressed concrete purlins.

In addition, prestressed beams and columns are produced daily, which are used in industrial, utility, and residential buildings. The site is known for its extensive expertise in prestressed bridge girders, which are of great importance for road and hydraulic engineering projects.

With decades of experience, specialized knowledge, and a strong reputation, you will find yourself in a production environment where quality, precision, and safety are paramount. Here, you contribute to the realization of heavy, complex, and technically advanced precast concrete elements that are used throughout the country.

  • You will be engaged in the production of prefab concrete elements such as beams, columns, and I-beams.
  • You are responsible for assembling the formwork (light carpentry), for which internal training is available.
  • You assemble, adjust, and dismantle formworks made of wood or metal based on plans.
  • You read technical drawings and carefully follow work instructions.
  • You cut, bend, connect, and weld reinforcements to size, and then correctly place them in the formwork.
  • You check whether the dimensions, strength, and positioning of the reinforcements are correct.
  • You operate the overhead crane to safely move formworks, reinforcements, and concrete elements.
  • You work closely with your colleagues and assist in pouring and finishing the concrete.
  • You attach great importance to order, cleanliness, and safety at the workplace.
