  • You have completed a technical education in mechanics, automotive technology, electromechanics or a similar field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a mechanic, technician or maintenance technician.
  • Have you already worked on excavators, construction machinery or heavy equipment? Then you definitely have an advantage.
  • You have good technical knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and electricity.
  • You can detect faults and have experience with diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
  • You enjoy working independently and actively look for a solution when faced with a technical problem.
  • Working safely and with quality is self-evident to you.
  • You have a category B driving licence. A category BE driving licence is a nice extra.
  • You are flexible to carry out on-site breakdown assistance when necessary.

You work from the branch in Temse, where the machinery and equipment fleet is maintained and repaired. You will join a technical working environment with modern machines, professional tools and experienced colleagues.

Most of your work takes place in and around Temse and East Flanders. For urgent breakdown services, you will also travel, when necessary, to worksites at other locations in Belgium.

As a technician, you ensure that the machinery and equipment remain in top condition. You combine maintenance, repairs and technical diagnoses, giving you plenty of variety in your work.

  • You carry out preventive and regular maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • You detect mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults and ensure a fast and correct solution.
  • You repair machines and replace defective or worn parts where necessary.
  • After a repair, you thoroughly test the machine so that it can be used safely and correctly again.
  • You accurately keep track of maintenance data and technical documentation.
  • For more complex faults, you work together with colleagues and project managers to find the right solution.
  • You actively think along about possible repairs, replacements and technical upgrades of the equipment.
  • You mainly work from Temse and at locations in East Flanders. For breakdown callouts, you may occasionally also be deployed at other locations in Belgium.
