Job description

For the vacancy of team leader in Eeklo and Wondelgem, you will be assigned many tasks.
Below you will find a selection of tasks:

  • You perform the tasks correctly in accordance with the predetermined planning and quality requirements, within the assigned hall and assigned team

  • You manage a team of workers

  • You hand out the necessary instructions and focus on correctly supporting your team members in achieving the expected daily output in quality and efficiency

  • You ensure that the work is carried out within the applicable quality, HSE and CSR regulations. You ensure that your team members apply these consistently

  • You can recognise and name problems and risks within your hall and report these to the Production Supervisor

  • If necessary, you lead a shift team and transfer the activities to the next team

  • You are also responsible for correctly closing the shift work, the workshop and the site

  • You have first-line decision-making authority. You adjust the daily planning when no higher hierarchical line is present

  • You collaborate 75% of the time, 25% of the time you participate in meetings etc.


Your profile

We are looking for team leaders for a company in the Eeklo and Wondelgem region.
For this vacancy, you meet the following requirements:

  • You have at least a degree in Technical Secondary Education third degree, preferably in the direction of Electromechanics or Mechanical Design Technology

  • You have insight into technical drawings and can read plans

  • You have experience with semi-automatic welding

  • You communicate clearly and combine this with the right people management skills

  • You can work with Office 365 and the current ICT hardware (PC, tablet, etc.)

  • You like a varied job in an international, growing company. You are eager to learn and motivated to quickly build up experience and master all aspects of the job

  • You understand and can express yourself in Dutch
