In a dynamic construction company, with a young management team and framework, specialized in maintenance work of public domains.
As a driver of the crash truck, you are responsible for safely transporting, placing, and operating the crash absorber during roadworks and incidents. You ensure that the workplace is safe for your colleagues and fellow road users. You work together with the execution team and respond quickly to changing situations.
Your tasks:
Driving a vehicle with a crash absorber (crash truck) at various locations.
Placing and relocating the crash truck according to applicable safety regulations.
Assisting in setting up and dismantling barricades.
Identifying dangerous situations and reporting them to the supervisor.
Responsible for keeping the vehicle clean and ready for use.
Must-haves for this job
What we ask:
In possession of a C driver's license.
VCA certificate or willing to obtain it.
Precise, responsible, and stress-resistant.
Good command of the Dutch or English language.
Affinity with infrastructure/roadwork is a plus.
