Salary and extra-legal benefits

What do we offer you for this position as a C driver?

  • A full-time employment contract.
  • Your workday starts between 1:00 and 4:00 a.m. and lasts approximately 12 hours.
  • You work from Tuesday to Saturday.
  • A starting salary of € 15.63 gross per hour.
  • An ARAB allowance of € 1.8175 net per hour.
  • A daily bonus of € 10.
  • Meal vouchers worth € 6 per worked day.
  • A pension premium and a commuting allowance.
  • A year-end bonus and holiday pay.
  • After one month of employment, you will receive a company car with fuel card.
  • After six months, you will receive a salary increase of € 0.50 per hour. After one year, another € 0.50 per hour will be added.

Vacation days

Your vacation and leave days are arranged according to Belgian labor legislation and the applicable collective labor agreements within the transport sector. You are entitled to the statutory 20 vacation days and possibly additional leave days, depending on your seniority and the sectoral agreements.

You work from a logistics site in Geel, in the Kempen region. From there, you transport various products to customers in Belgium and several European countries. These are often refrigerated goods or products for which specific hygiene and temperature requirements apply.

As a C driver, you are responsible for:

  • safely loading and transporting goods according to the planned routes and trips;
  • maintaining the correct temperature and hygienic conditions during transport;
  • making national and international trips to customers and distribution centers;
  • correctly completing transport documents and trip reports;
  • complying with the legal driving and rest times;
  • maintaining contact with transport planning and passing on important updates;
  • carrying out deliveries in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
