Salary and extra-legal benefits
You can expect this:
- Depending on your experience, your salary ranges between €18.592 and €22.374 per hour.
- You receive €7.36 in meal vouchers for each day worked.
- You receive a pension premium of 0.76% of your gross salary.
- You receive loyalty stamps worth 9% of your gross annual salary.
- You receive a laundry allowance of €0.50 per day worked.
Vacation days

You work at a fixed location in the port of Antwerp. There you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of technical installations. You work together with experienced colleagues in an environment where safety and quality are important. No workday is the same, which means you have a lot of variety in your job.
As a maintenance technician in electricity, you ensure that installations continue to operate properly and safely. You carry out maintenance, solve malfunctions, and assist with various electrical tasks.
- You carry out maintenance work on technical installations.
- You replace filters and help with cleaning installations, boiler rooms and air ducts.
- You safely connect and disconnect electrical installations.
- You carry out measurements on electrical installations.
- You detect malfunctions and help resolve them.
- You work on fans, pumps, valves and other technical installations.
- You read electrical and technical plans.
- You ensure a safe shutdown and restart of installations.
- You always work according to the safety regulations.
