Salary and extra-legal benefits
This is what your package looks like:
- Depending on your experience, your salary is between € 18.3900 and € 22.1310 per hour
- You receive meal vouchers for every day worked

Vacation days
- Legal vacation days: you are entitled to your vacation days according to Belgian legislation, accrued based on your performance in the previous year. This amounts to approximately 20 days of annual vacation, depending on your contract hours and performance.
- Construction leave: in the construction sector, there is a tradition of a collective construction vacation in the summer, lasting for 3 weeks.
- Christmas vacation: between Christmas and New Year, you are also on leave for 2 weeks.
- Compensatory rest days: in addition to your statutory vacation, there are compensatory rest days that are fixed sector-wide. On these days, you do not work and do not take vacation days, but compensatory rest days.

You will work on unique construction sites in Flanders.
At this moment, you will be employed at the Sint-Annakerk site in Ghent.
Your challenges as a shuttering carpenter:
- Concreting and placing prefab:
- Partly responsible for concreting walls, beams, and floor panels in buildings
- Placing prefab elements is part of your tasks
- Execution of formwork:
- Creating both traditional and system formwork (Peri, Doka)
- Working with exposed concrete is partly involved
- Become an expert in reinforcement and formwork plans
- Prioritizing safety:
- Together with your colleagues ensuring a safe working environment
- Preventing workplace accidents is your top priority
- Focus on quality and order:
- Maintaining a neat and orderly workplace
- Delivering high-quality work that we can rely on blindfolded
Our client is a prominent restoration company in Belgium with years of experience and expertise. They specialize in the restoration of classified monuments and non-classified buildings, including churches, cathedrals, castles, mansions, and protected residential homes. In addition to restoration work, they also have their own carpentry workshop and stonemasonry.
