Job description


The duties for the vacancy of formworker / all-round labourer in the Antwerp region consist of ;


  • Preparing the substrate (walls, woodwork, etc.)

  • Monitoring stock, identifying shortages

  • Placing orders

  • Removing, installing or repairing floor and wall coverings (tiles, parquet, panelling, skirting boards, etc.)

  • Install or adjust safety or signalling elements (emergency signalling, sprinklers, emergency lighting, etc.)

  • Modify or repair existing masonry

  • Furniture, sports infrastructure, partitions, false ceilings, ... dismantling or assembling




  • Assemble support structures (scaffolding, braces, platform, ...)

  • Levelling and preparing the foundations, construction pit and cistern bed according to the slope

  • Laying pipes, drains and connections

  • Forming, filling and demoulding concrete workpieces

  • Placing reinforcement in concrete depending on the application (concrete slabs, walls, piles, floors, etc.)

  • Ordering concrete and checking the delivered concrete

  • Assembling concrete reinforcements

  • Cutting timber formwork and formwork components (reinforcements, curved formwork, adapters, etc.) to size and assembling them

  • Assembling and fixing precast elements in concrete

  • Installing sealing elements (intumescent joints, plastic sheeting, etc.)

  • Simple masonry work

  • Levelling and sanding concrete slabs

  • Drilling foundations

  • Collect and sort waste and transport it to treatment or storage areas

  • Checking the application of safety regulations


Your profile


For the vacancy of formworker / all-round labourer in the Antwerp region, we are looking for someone with the following characteristics ;


  • Experience with shuttering is a plus. We can use both people with and without experience.

  • Motivated

  • Good knowledge of Dutch

  • An eye for safety

  • Driving licence B

  • VCA is a plus, but can be obtained afterwards
