Salary and extra-legal benefits
Our client pays you according to the official scales of PC124 (Construction sector):
- Hourly wage between €18.390 gross per hour and €22.131 gross per hour
- Clothing allowance of €0.50/per working day
- Home-work travel and mobility allowance

Vacation days
- Vacation days: you are entitled to your vacation days according to Belgian legislation, accrued based on your performance in the previous year. This amounts to approximately 20 days of annual vacation, depending on your contract hours and performance.
- Construction leave: in the construction sector, there is a tradition of 3 weeks of collective construction vacation in the summer.
- Christmas holiday: for Christmas, you also have 2 weeks off.
- Catch-up rest days: in addition to your statutory vacation, there are catch-up rest days that are sector-wide fixed. On these days you do not work and do not take vacation days, but catch-up rest days.

Together with a colleague, you depart from Zedelgem and drive a van to different locations across Flanders. You always work outdoors, even when the weather is less favorable. Your working hours often vary.
As a road worker in the Zedelgem team, you will be responsible for tasks such as:
- Groundwork and sewer works
- Construction and repair of concrete roads or asphalt
- Laying of pavers and curbs
- Adjusting manhole covers
This construction group is one of the largest in Belgium and is active every day on more than 250 sites. With no less than 2,000 colleagues, they work together on projects for roads, buildings, sports facilities, and water purification.
