Work close to home – Veurne region and surroundings
For our customer in the Veurne region, we are looking for an experienced groundworker to carry out work on utility lines (water, gas, electricity, telecom). You will join a stable team with a focus on safety and quality.
Your tasks:
Conducting excavation work for the installation and repair of utility lines.
Assisting with the placement of pipes, cables, and lines.
Closing and repairing trenches.
Working according to safety regulations (working along the road, signaling, PPE).
Collaborating with crane operator and foreman to efficiently complete the site.
Performing minor maintenance on machines or tools.
Our client can look back on more than 100 years of entrepreneurship. Where it started green (only garden landscaping and planting), it has now evolved into infrastructure works specializing in the installation of small-scale materials and expanded to the placement of underground utility lines.
Regarding the specialization in infrastructure, we think of:
Road construction, squares, and parks: They always complete a project from substructure to superstructure. The works include removal and earthworks, various types of foundations and pavements (natural stone, pavers, crushed stone, dolomite, asphalt, concrete, grass tiles), the placement of linear elements (curbs, gutters, water trenches, retaining walls) as well as all additional street furniture, signage, lighting, planting, ...
As for underground pipes:
Since the 1980s, they have been carrying out assignments for gas and electricity companies, as well as installing new house connections to the sewer system and repairing sewers.
Garden landscaping and planting:
Planting works, pruning and felling trees and shrubs, grinding trees and shrubs, maintaining green zones, shredding all kinds of pruning wood.
The sister company of our client has its own concrete plant to produce stabilized sand and lean concrete themselves. This is based on both natural aggregates and recycled materials originating from demolition waste from our construction sites.
In addition to use at our own sites, individuals, companies, and institutions can also collect lean concrete or sand cement from them.
Finally, you can visit the recycling site with construction rubble that is sorted and then broken and recycled using a mobile crushing and sieving installation into Copro-certified rubble aggregates in various calibers.
