For the position of Measurement and Control Technician, we are looking for candidates with the following requirements.
- You have a technical diploma in electronics, automation, electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
- You have several years of relevant work experience in a similar position within the industry, preferably in petrochemicals.
- You have in-depth knowledge of measurement and control technology. Knowledge of ATEX is a plus.
- You work with safety awareness and have good communication skills. You function smoothly in a team.
- You are willing to follow additional training, are flexible in working hours and any breakdown duties, and have a driving license B.

As a Measurement and Control Technician in East Flanders, you are responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of measurement and control instrumentation.
- You install, calibrate and maintain measurement and control equipment.
- You detect malfunctions, analyze the cause and remedy defects in instrumentation and control systems.
- You perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems to keep operation reliable.
- You optimize existing control loops and adjust them where necessary.
- You work according to the applicable safety regulations and quality standards during your daily tasks.
This company specializes in industrial electricity and instrumentation for the chemical and petrochemical sectors, with two core activities: maintenance and projects. In maintenance, they take over the full management of electrical and instrumentation services (E&I) in factories for periods of 1, 3, or 5 years. In projects, they guide the construction of factories in the E/I field from A to Z, from construction through commissioning.
