For the position of Instrumentation and Control Technician, we are looking for candidates with the following requirements.
- You have a technical diploma in electronics, automation, electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
- You have several years of relevant work experience in a similar position within industry, preferably in petrochemicals.
- You have in-depth knowledge of instrumentation and control engineering. Knowledge of ATEX is a plus.
- You work with safety awareness and have good communication skills. You function well in a team.
- You are willing to follow additional training, are flexible in working hours and any standby services, and have a category B driving licence.

As a Measurement and Control Technician in East Flanders, you are responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of measurement and control instrumentation.
- You install, calibrate and maintain measurement and control equipment.
- You detect malfunctions, analyse the cause and remedy defects in instrumentation and control systems.
- You carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems to keep their operation reliable.
- You optimise existing control loops and adjust them where necessary.
- You work according to the applicable safety regulations and quality standards during your daily tasks.
This company specializes in industrial electricity and instrumentation for the chemical and petrochemical sector, with two core activities: maintenance and projects. In maintenance, they take over the full management of electrical and instrumentation services (E&I) in factories for periods of 1, 3, or 5 years. In projects, they guide the construction of factories in the E/I field from A to Z, from construction through commissioning.
