Job description


To support our Filling department, we are looking for a machine operator, 2 shifts or fixed night, for Lummen site.

In this job, you will be responsible for:

  • repairing the work related to the filling of sterile products operating and controlling the various machines.

  • observe safety regulations, hygiene rules and quality standards to ensure safety, production quality and quantity.



Taken package:

  • You receive and stock basic raw materials

  • You prepare the preparations computer-controlled according to the recipe programmed on the five different mixing installations

  • You carry out administrative tasks (registration of CIPs, materials used, etc.)

  • You ensure the quality of the work performed and report deviations to your team leader

  • Processing or directly to 1st lab assistant

  • You independently follow up the planning via OMP

  • You report any problems/malfunctions during preparation to the team leader, helping to find the cause of the problem and making notifications in SAP

  • You are responsible for the heat treatment of certain raw materials

  • You take samples after pasteurisation and follow up on the lab test results

  • You operate the various sterilisers so that the products can be filled on the various filling lines

  • You clean and sterilise the various tanks and mixing installations

  • You assist colleagues from the recovery department with the reprocessing of products


Your profile



  • A first experience as an operator or training in technical direction

  • Basic knowledge of PC (MS Office, SAP, OMP, Interspec, etc.)

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Regular lifting of heavy loads

  • Insight into the general operation of production departments

  • Knowledge of working regulations regarding safety, quality, environment and HACCP is certainly a plus

  • In possession of a forklift driver's licence or willing to obtain one

  • Basic knowledge of English (plus basic knowledge of German/French

  • You are willing to work in a food environment

  • Willing to work 2 shifts.

  • You are stress resistant
