The production operator works in 3 shifts at our client in Maasmechelen and takes care of the daily production and packaging activities.Start, set up and operate production machines.Supply the production, both manually and with the forklift.Carry out quality checks based on a checklist.Pack goods, label them and prepare them for shipment or pickup by logistics colleagues.Clean and keep the workplace tidy.Perform manual tasks within the production process.

You will not only learn and grow, but also come to work with pleasure every day!Vacancy descriptionThe Process Operator carries out all tasks with the aim of making production run as efficiently as possible in order to guarantee stable process operation. The operator is able to adjust the process parameters via the SCADA system.What are your main tasks?You maintain and inspect the overall biomethanization installation, including the after-treatment of the digestates and the biogas engines as prescribed in the contracts of the various suppliers. If necessary, you carry out repairs of partsYou record the changes in the process using a SCADA system and during maintenance work you record this in the corresponding logbooksYou monitor the installation and supervise productionYou carry out laboratory analyses and follow up the entire administrative processYou evaluate and assess the daily bio and chemistry culture and adjust where necessaryYou ensure the acceptance of incoming organic substances, register and check the required documents.You clean and maintain vehicles needed to feed the installationYou monitor the feeding of the installation and adjust if necessaryAfter the training, you will be trained to do on-call duty for 1 week/month (also weekends during the on-call week, refill the machine 2x a day on Saturday and Sunday) 

Chemical Operator

The production operator works in 3 shifts at our client in Maasmechelen and handles the daily production and packaging activities. Starting up, setting, and operating production machines. Supplying production, both manually and with the forklift. Conducting quality checks using a checklist. Packing, labeling, and preparing goods for shipping or pickup by logistics colleagues. Cleaning and keeping the workspace tidy. Performing manual tasks within the production process. 

Ensure the correct setup, operation, and maintenance of the machines involved in sorting, washing, processing, and packaging potatoes and onionsPerform quality checks to ensure our products meet the required standards and specificationsIdentify and resolve malfunctions or deviations in the production processAccurately record production data and report it to your supervisorWork according to the established safety and hygiene guidelines to guarantee a safe workplace 

Producing soft and hard nougatChecking the thickness of the nougat on the conveyor beltMonitoring the automatic nougat lineCutting nougat for packagingGrinding hard nougat into pieces 

You monitor the processes using various computer screensYou ensure that the correct quantities are combined via the screen and manually add more if necessaryYou can repair malfunctions in the machines yourself or report them to the responsible colleagues if necessaryYou keep the production and office space clean and are not afraid to do some sweeping
