Job description

For the vacancy as a bricklayer in the region of Turnhout, you will be assigned a wide range of tasks. You will carry out the following activities:

  • every day you will carry out bricklaying works for house construction;

  • you work in a team with your fellow construction workers;

  • you set up your own profiles;

  • you start building walls;

  • you carry out bricklaying works for interior and exterior walls;

  • you install rapid construction bricks;

  • you are responsible for the bricklaying of facade bricks and façade;

  • you are responsible for gluing together both interior walls, rapid construction blocks, and facade bricks;

  • you perform traditional bricklaying works;

  • you carry out modern bricklaying works;

  • you assist with the formworking;

  • you help place concrete slabs and the reinforcing steel;

  • you work according to a construction plan;

  • you listen to the supervising colleagues and follow their instructions correctly;

  • you assist other colleagues where necessary;

  • you leave the worksite clean and tidy by cleaning up everything and keeping tools/materials clean;

  • you strictly apply safety rules and work in good understanding with your colleagues regarding safety.
