Job description

As a process operator at this client in the Waasland Port, this is your package of tasks:

  • Managing the daily operation of the installation. You don't have a fixed post, every operator follows the entire process

  • You perform control rounds, monitor the alarms, and make adjustments where necessary

  • When there are larger malfunctions, you support the mechanical maintenance worker

  • You do this together with your colleagues.

They process raw materials (overproduction of food, surpluses and expired foodstuffs) through fermentation processes. As the end product of the process, they obtain certain fertilizers, but also water and energy. These substances are used again in their own process and are sold.
