You work as a Railway Shunter in the region of Ghent and Zeebrugge. After completing the training, you will be employed in Ghent or Zeebrugge.

The first step in the selection process is online CEBIR tests that you will receive via email. If you pass these, you will then answer the final questions via Hirevue. These will also be sent to you via email.

As a railway shunter (aspiring senior ground operator = SGO), you perform technical visual checks on train components such as brakes, couplings, and cargo. You detect damages and assess whether a train can depart safely. You check whether hazardous goods are transported correctly and connect and disconnect wagons.
