For the job as track fitter, you recognize yourself in the following points:
- You have experience as a ground worker or in the construction sector

- A VCA certificate and experience in track work are a plus
- You have experience as an electrician and can easily read a technical plan.

Salary and extra-legal benefits
Your remuneration is according to the collective agreement of the construction sector and is further supplemented with:
- Meal vouchers of €6.50 (own contribution €1.09)
- A net clothing allowance of €0.5 net per day
- A tool allowance of €0.7395 net per day
- Mobility allowance as per construction sector
- 12 recuperation days
Weekend and night work allowances:
- Work on Saturday during daytime = 50% bonus + all hours recoverable (or payable at 100%)
- Work on Sunday during daytime = 100% bonus + all hours recoverable (or payable at 100%)
- For night hours worked during the weekend, there is an additional bonus of 10% + a premium of €37.18 per night if you have worked at least 8 hours that night
Vacation days
You follow the holiday regulations of the construction leave:
- 3 weeks of collective vacation during the summer months (construction leave)
- 2 weeks of collective closure between Christmas and New Year
You will drive to the construction sites daily to perform the necessary infrastructure works.
You work outdoors every day, this could be: during the day, at night, and on weekends.
There is little to no weather delay.
For the vacancy as Track Technician, you will perform the following tasks:
Your tasks:
- Carrying out excavation works and earthmoving along railway lines
- Installing trenches and cable ducts, pulling cables (cable pulling)
- Assembling and placing railway equipment and other railway infrastructure
- Laying and repairing foundations and drainage systems
- Connecting signals and controls
- Maintaining a safe working environment, even during night or weekend work
