You work in a modern workshop in Antwerp, together with an experienced and collegial team. Here, quality, safety, and teamwork are central to the maintenance and repair of various trailers.
What does your job look like?
- You perform maintenance and repairs on trailers, refrigerated semi-trailers, and trailers.
- You inspect and repair braking systems (air brakes, ABS/EBS), suspensions, and axles.
- You locate electrical malfunctions and fix them, including lighting, wiring, and connectors.
- You perform welding and construction works on the chassis and the structure.
- You inspect and replace tires and wheels as needed.
- You repair loading doors, loading floors, bulkheads, and other bodywork components.
- You thoroughly test all systems after repair and ensure they function perfectly.
- You always work according to applicable safety and quality regulations.
- You report completed tasks and notify the responsible party of any defects.
- You collaborate closely with colleagues in the workshop and, if necessary, inform drivers about the work performed.
