For this weaver position, we are looking for candidates with the following knowledge, skills and assets.
- You are interested in technology, production and textiles. Starters are also eligible if they have a clear technical interest.
- Experience as a weaver is a strong asset, but not an absolute requirement.
- You are practical and work accurately. You can tie knots carefully and notice errors or deviations in the fabric, including colour differences where relevant, in a timely manner.
- You work punctually, independently and safely. In addition, you can work well together and coordinate with colleagues and your team manager.
- You preferably communicate fluently in Dutch. If you have a good knowledge of English and relevant experience, you are also eligible. Experience with an overhead crane or forklift is a plus.

Salary and extra-legal benefits
- Depending on your experience, your wage is between 17 and 19 euros per hour.
- Possibility to move up to the night shift after training in two shifts.

You will work in the weaving mill in Kerksken, a production environment for technical textiles with modern machines.
Production operates in two shifts. Those who later wish to work the night shift will first start in two shifts to get to know the production environment and weaving techniques well.
It is an active working environment in which you move around a lot every day, without the work being extremely physically demanding. Parking is available at the site.
As a weaver, you work on the weaving machines daily and closely monitor the weaving process.
- You operate the weaving machines and carefully monitor their operation during the production process.
- You prepare bobbins for the production process.
- You correctly insert the weft threads and accurately thread the warp threads.
- You tie knots when necessary to allow the process to continue.
- You check the fabric for errors and deviations.
- You quickly notice irregularities, report them and help monitor the quality of the technical textile.
- You work according to the procedures and support the production process.
