Salary and extra-legal benefits
- You receive a salary adjusted to your experience and qualifications between €17/hour and €19/hour.
- You work 40 hours per week, entitling you to 12 ADV days.
- Meal vouchers of €8 per worked day.
- Annually, €250 in eco vouchers.
Vacation days
There are 3 weeks of collective leave planned in the summer.
Eeckhout NV is located in the industrial area of Roeselare. This is an easily accessible location with ample parking space for staff and visitors. The location on a major access road ensures smooth connections to surrounding municipalities and the E403 motorway.
Team and departments
The company consists of a close-knit and experienced team of about 20 employees. There are several departments:
- Sales & administration
- Technical service & assembly
- After-sales service & repairs
You are responsible for assembling and welding independent chimneys, as well as welding custom pieces (ductwork and construction work) in both stainless steel and steel. This concretely means that you are responsible for preparing, assembling, and welding various customized metal parts, according to the technical plans and specifications.
Your tasks include:
- Preparation: You read technical drawings and instructions, select the right materials (stainless steel or steel), and ensure proper preparation of the components (such as cutting to size, grinding, and positioning).
- Assembly: You precisely assemble and position the different parts so they are ready to be welded.
- Welding: You use both TIG and MIG/MAG welding processes, depending on the material and the requirements of the workpiece. You ensure strong, clean, and accurate weld seams.
- Installation: Occasionally, you assist in the installation of assembled components in the workshop or on location.
- Quality control: You perform interim and final inspections on accuracy, strength, and finishing according to the company’s quality standards.
