Competition Rules “Win an extra month's pay”
The company Accent Jobs for People NV, with registered office at Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare and company number 0455.069.956; and the company Accent Construct NV, with registered office at Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare and company number 0887.120.626 (hereinafter jointly: "Accent"), are organising a competition under the name "Win an extra month's pay" (hereinafter: "the Competition").
The Competition runs from 1 September 2026 at 09.00 until 31 October 2026 at 21.00 inclusive (hereinafter: "the Term").
The Competition is a competition in which two participants can win an extra month's pay (hereinafter: "the Prize"). Participation in the Competition is possible by:
- completing the questions and information fields on the competition page,

- Telephone number
- Email address

The Participants can win an extra month's pay (hereinafter: "the Prize"), the calculation and allocation terms of which are set out further in these Competition Rules.
There are two Winners:
- one Winner for Wallonia;
- one Winner for Flanders.
On 20 November 2026, an Accent employee will personally contact the Winners by email or telephone.
The Competition is accessible via the following page: apply.accentjobs.be/winanextramonthspay (hereinafter: "the Competition Page").
The Winners can only win the Prize described above.
ARTICLE 1 – WHO MAY PARTICIPATE?
1.1.
Natural persons who:
- are at least 18 years old at the time of participation;
- have a valid email address and telephone number;
- have their official place of residence in Belgium during the Term of the Competition;
- register in their own name;
- meet the competition conditions
- may participate in the Competition.
Accent cannot be held liable for the participation in the Competition of persons who do not meet the above conditions and expressly reserves the right to disqualify such participants.
The Competition Conditions are as follows:
- During the Term, the Participant completes the competition form on the Competition Page fully and correctly, answers the Competition Question and accepts these Competition Rules.
- The Participant is a new candidate at Accent. "New candidate" means: a person who, between 1 January 2026 and 31 August 2026, has not concluded any temporary employment contract with Accent Jobs NV, Accent Jobs for People NV or Accent NV.
- During the Term, the Participant starts working through Accent in a position within the Construct or Technical sector.*
- The Participant starts no later than 31 October 2026 and no earlier than 1 September 2026 through Accent. In addition, the Participant works at least 20 actual working days through Accent between 1 September 2026 and 20 November 2026. Only working days actually worked are counted. Days not worked (such as illness, holidays, public holidays or other absences) are not counted.
- On 20 November 2026, the day of the prize award, the Participant is still connected to Accent by means of a current temporary employment contract.
- The Participant is not employed as a student worker or flexi-jobber.
- The Participant is not a payroll candidate who was selected by a client of Accent itself and is processed administratively solely through Accent.
The above conditions are hereinafter jointly referred to as the "Competition Conditions".
1.2.
A Participant may only participate once in the Competition and may only be eligible once for winning the Prize.
1.3.
Participation in the Competition is not permitted for:
- i. persons who hold an internal position at Accent, its subsidiaries, its partners or their subsidiaries, or at any other company that cooperates in the organisation or distribution of the Competition;
- persons who have a direct family relationship with the persons referred to above (relatives in the ascending and descending line, spouses, legally cohabiting partners, brothers and sisters).
1.4.
In the event of a breach of the above rules or Competition Conditions, the Participant is disqualified immediately, automatically and without prior notice.
ARTICLE 2 – COMPETITION
2.1.
The Competition is offered to the Participants free of charge and participation is not subject to any obligation to purchase.
2.2.
The Competition is organised from 1 September 2026 at 09.00 until 31 October 2026 at 21.00 inclusive and consists of one competition round.
After the end of the Competition, the Winners are selected on the basis of:
- i. compliance with all Competition Conditions;
- the answer to the Competition Question.
One Winner is designated for Wallonia and one Winner for Flanders.
On 20 November 2026, an Accent employee will personally contact the Winners by email or telephone.
The Competition offers Participants the chance to win one extra month's pay. The Competition is accessible via the Competition Page. The calculation and allocation terms of the Prize are set out in article 5 of these Competition Rules.
Each Winner can only win one Prize.
2.3.
Accent reserves the right to extend the Competition without prior notice. If Accent decides to let the Competition run longer, a notice about this will be posted on the Competition Page.
2.4.
Accent also expressly reserves the right to end the Competition at any time earlier than provided for in these Competition Rules, at its own discretion.
ARTICLE 3 – HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
3.1.
The official competition page is accessible via the Competition Page.
3.2.
During the Term, the Participant can participate in the Competition by:
- i. visiting the Competition Page;
- completing the competition form on the Competition Page fully and correctly and thereby registering for the Competition;
iii. answering the Competition Question;
- meeting all Competition Conditions as set out in article 1 of these Competition Rules;
- accepting these Competition Rules;
- having read and understood Accent's Privacy Policy.
3.3.
By registering and answering the Competition Question and meeting the Competition Conditions, each Participant becomes eligible once for the Prize when the Competition has ended.
3.4.
All answers uploaded by the Participants must comply with the applicable legislation as well as with the general rules of decency. Accent always reserves the right to remove materials from the Competition Page if it considers, at its own discretion, that there is reason to do so. Accent does not have to inform the Participant concerned about this and will under no circumstances owe any compensation.
3.5.
Any participation in the Competition by correspondence or in any form other than via the Competition Page provided by Accent for that purpose is excluded.
ARTICLE 4 – DESIGNATION OF THE WINNERS
4.1.
At the end of the Competition, two Winners are designated:
- one Winner for Wallonia;
- one Winner for Flanders.
The division Wallonia/Flanders is determined on the basis of the office with which the participant cooperates.
Per region, the Participant wins:
- who meets all Competition Conditions; and
- whose answer is closest to the correct answer to the Competition Question.
In the event of a tie, the Participant whose answer to the tie-breaker question is closest to the correct answer is designated as Winner. If, after applying this criterion, a tie still exists, the time of submission is taken into account: the Participant who first submitted a valid answer is designated as Winner.
4.2.
Within 7 days after designation, the Winner is personally informed, by email or by telephone. When the winner receives a message, he/she must contact Accent.
The Participants who do not win a Prize will not receive any letter or any communication informing them of the fact that they have not won a Prize.
4.3.
The identity of the Winner may be published on the Competition Page as well as on Accent's social media channels as soon as it has been made known. The Winner is contacted personally.
ARTICLE 5 – PRIZE
5.1.
Per region (Flanders and Wallonia), one extra month's pay is awarded.
"One extra month's pay" means:
- the gross hourly wage in accordance with the first pay slip of the employment through Accent during the Term of the Competition (hereinafter: "the Pay Slip");
- multiplied by 52 divided by 12
- to be multiplied by the number of hours actually worked in accordance with the Pay Slip (excluding overtime);
- to be reduced by the tax and social security contributions.
Anything not included in the above list is not taken into account for the calculation of the Prize.
The Prize will be transferred to the account number (as stated on the registration form) of the Winner.
5.2.
The Prize cannot be taken back or exchanged, nor exchanged for money or currency, and can also not be transferred to another person.
5.3.
Accent reserves the right, in the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, to replace the Prize offered with a similar prize of equal value.
ARTICLE 6 – DISQUALIFICATION, SUSPENSION OR CANCELLATION
6.1. Any breach of these Competition Rules or any fraud leads to the disqualification of the Participant. Accent may disqualify a Participant in the event of clear and reasonably founded suspicions of a breach of these Competition Rules.
6.2. The Participants who have been disqualified may no longer participate in the Competition. Decisions of Accent in this respect are final and no appeal is available against them.
6.3. Accent reserves the right to shorten, suspend, amend or cancel the Competition in the event of any reason beyond its control or in the event of force majeure whereby continuing the Competition in accordance with these Competition Rules has become impossible, including in the event of the malfunctioning of the Internet or any other problem in connection with the telecommunications networks, the computers or servers, Internet providers, IT systems or computer programs.
6.4. Accent furthermore reserves the right to shorten, suspend or extend the Competition at its own discretion and as it sees fit.
6.5. Where an amendment or suspension occurs on the basis of articles 6.3 or 6.4, Accent will clearly post a notice of this amendment or suspension on the Competition Page.
6.6. If the Competition Rules are amended by Accent, the Participants will receive a notice of this amendment. They then have the choice between participating and withdrawing from the Competition.
ARTICLE 7 – LIABILITY
7.1. All disputes or complaints relating to the Competition must be addressed exclusively to Accent.
7.2. To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable legislation, Accent is only liable for the direct damage proven by the Participant which is the direct consequence of the non-performance by Accent or its appointees of the essential obligations that form the subject of these Competition Rules, of intent, or of the inexcusable gross fault of Accent or its appointees.
In addition, the total liability of Accent for all damages that a Participant might suffer is hereby limited to an amount equal to the value of 1000 euros.
7.3. Accent is not liable for indirect damage that occurs in the context of participation in the Competition, of whatever nature and with whatever cause, origin or consequences, even where it has been warned of the risk of such damage, including damage caused as a result of:
- an interruption or malfunctioning of the Internet or of a Participant's computer or any other problem in connection with the telecommunications networks, the computers or servers, Internet providers, IT systems or computer programs;
- the access of anyone whomsoever to the Competition Page or the impossibility of obtaining access to the Competition Page;
- the use of the Competition Page, including any anomaly or virus that could infect and/or damage the Participant's IT equipment or other goods.
7.4. If the Competition were to be terminated as a result of the conduct of one of the Participants, Accent reserves the right to claim compensation for the damage suffered.
7.6. Apart from cases of gross or intentional fault, neither Accent, nor its personnel, nor any third party which it has called upon for the organisation of the Competition can be held liable for any damage of whatever nature that might arise in connection with the participation in or the organisation of the Competition, the designation of the Winners and the allocation or non-allocation of the Prize. The liability of the parties named in this paragraph can in no event be increased as a result of any amendment, suspension or termination of the Competition. The compensation of damage caused by the non-performance of a contractual obligation by an auxiliary person of Accent can, within the legal limits, only be grounds for a contractual liability claim against Accent and not grounds for a non-contractual liability claim against the auxiliary person, even where the event giving rise to the damage also constitutes a wrongful act.
7.7. The Participant is personally responsible for the content of the answers which he/she uploads on the Competition Page. The Participants warrant that the submitted answers do not infringe any rights of third parties and will therefore fully indemnify and hold Accent harmless against any claim of a third party against Accent.
7.8. Accent can under no circumstances be held liable for the content of the Competition Page and the submitted answers, nor for the unlawful use thereof.
7.9 Accent offers no guarantees regarding the usability or suitability of the Prize for any purpose whatsoever. Accent cannot be held liable for the use of the Prize, nor for the malfunctioning or poor performance of the Prize, nor for any damage, whether direct or indirect, caused directly or indirectly by the Prize.
ARTICLE 8 – ACCEPTANCE
Participation in the Competition implies full knowledge and irrevocable acceptance without reservation of these Competition Rules. By participating in the Competition, the Participant accepts all provisions of the Competition Rules, as well as any decision that Accent might have to take.
ARTICLE 9 – PRIVACY
9.1. During and after the end of the Competition, the Participant communicates personal data to Accent.
Accent processes this personal data with respect for the Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, transposing, supplementing and implementing European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter: the "GDPR") and the Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications.
Accent processes the Participant's personal data with the necessary care and confidentiality, in accordance with its Privacy Policy (available on the website www.accentjobs.be). The Participant declares that he/she has read and understood the Privacy Policy.
9.2. The controller for the processing of the Participants' personal data is Accent nv, Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare.
9.3. The personal data referred to include the surname, the first name, the company name, the email address, the telephone number and the postal code of the Participant. The personal data is collected for the purpose of being able to ensure the proper conduct of the Competition, in particular the possibility of contacting the Participants with regard to their participation, being able to hand over the Prize in an efficient manner and mentioning the name and the winning answer of the Winners on the Website and the Facebook or Instagram page of Accent, as well as to help the Participants search for a suitable job. For this we rely on the legal basis of pre-contractual necessity.
In order to participate validly in the Competition, the Participant is requested to provide this personal data in full. The Participant has the choice whether or not to provide the additional data. If the Participant chooses not to provide this data, he/she cannot participate in the Competition.
The legal basis for placing the Participant on social media is the consent of the Participant, which is granted by participating in the Competition and providing the requested personal data.
9.4. The Participants warrant that they provide personal data to Accent in a lawful manner and will therefore fully indemnify and hold Accent harmless against any claim of a third party against Accent for unlawful processing of his/her personal data.
9.5. Every Participant has certain rights with regard to the processing of his/her personal data:
- Right of access and inspection: The Participant has the right to take note of his/her personal data free of charge at any time, as well as of the use that Accent makes of this personal data.
- Right of rectification, erasure and restriction: The Participant is free to communicate his/her personal data to Accent or not. In addition, the Participant always has the right to request Accent to rectify, supplement or erase his/her personal data (in the cases provided for by the GDPR). The Participant acknowledges that in the event of a refusal to communicate or a request for the erasure of personal data, certain services and products cannot be delivered. The Participant may also request that the processing of his/her Personal Data be restricted. The participation of the Participant who requests the full or partial erasure of his data before the end of the Competition, so that Accent can no longer contact this Participant, will be declared invalid and this Participant cannot be eligible for the Prize.
- Right of objection: The Participant also has a right to object to the processing of his/her personal data on serious and legitimate grounds (in the cases provided for in the GDPR). In addition, the Participant always has the right to object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in such a case no reasons need to be given.
- Right of free data transfer: The Participant has the right to obtain his/her Personal Data processed by Accent in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form and/or to transfer it to other controllers (in the cases provided for in the GDPR).
- Right of withdrawal of consent: Insofar as the processing is based on prior consent, the Participant has the right to withdraw that consent. The participation of the Participant who withdraws his/her consent before the end of the Competition will be declared invalid and this Participant cannot be eligible for the Prize.
These rights can be exercised by contacting Accent for that purpose by post, by addressing a letter with a copy of an identity document to: Accent nv, Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare.
ARTICLE 10 – DISPUTES
10.1. Disputes or complaints concerning this Competition must be submitted within 8 days by letter to: Accent, Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare.
10.2. In the event of a discussion regarding the application or interpretation of these Competition Rules, the Participant undertakes first to seek an amicable solution in consultation with Accent before commencing legal proceedings.
10.3. No dispute will be accepted regarding the choice of a winner.
10.4. All decisions of Accent within the framework of this Competition are final, irrevocable and binding. No appeal is available against these decisions.
10.5. If one of the provisions of these Competition Rules were to be considered null or invalid, the other provisions of these Competition Rules remain fully in force.
10.6. These Competition Rules, as well as the conduct of the Competition itself, are subject to Belgian legislation.
10.7. The courts and tribunals of Kortrijk have exclusive jurisdiction to hear disputes concerning the formation, the validity, the performance, the compliance with and the interpretation of these Competition Rules.
