Contest Rules "Win a Year of Free Groceries"

The company Accent Jobs, with registered office at Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare and company number 654.755.146; the company Accent Jobs for People, with registered office at Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare and company number 455.069.965; and the company Accent Construct, with registered office at Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare and company number 887.120.626 (all hereinafter: “Accent”), organize a contest under the name “Win an Extra Month’s Salary” (hereinafter: “the Contest”). The Contest runs from 9 February 2026 at 8:30 a.m. until 5 April 2026 at 5:30 p.m. inclusive (hereinafter: “the Duration”).

The Contest is a competition in which participants (hereinafter: “the Participants”) can take part by answering the following contest question (hereinafter: “the Contest Question”):

“How many temporary workers started working via Accent in 2025?” 
(tip: in 2024, 39,769 temporary workers started working via Accent).

Participants can win a Kadonation gift voucher with a value of EUR 2,500 (hereinafter: “the Prize”), the calculation and awarding modalities of which are further determined in these Contest Rules. There is 1 winner. On 10 April 2026, an employee of Accent will announce the winner via a personal message by email.

The winners can only win the Prize described above.

 

ARTICLE 1 – WHO MAY PARTICIPATE?

1.1. Natural persons who (i) are at least 18 years old at the time of participation, (ii) have a valid email address, (iii) have an official place of residence in Belgium during the Duration of the Contest, (iv) register in their own name, and (v) meet the contest conditions* may participate in the Contest. Accent cannot be held liable for the participation of minors in the Contest and expressly reserves the right to disqualify minor participants.

*The contest conditions are as follows: the Participant (i) has signed a registration form with Accent Construct, (ii) has effectively worked at least 1 day via Accent during the Duration of the Contest, (iii) is bound by a temporary employment contract with Accent at the time of the awarding of the Prize (being on 5 June 2025), (iv) is not employed as a student or flexi-job worker and concerns a candidate who was selected directly by Accent itself (not a payroll candidate via a client of Accent).

1.2. A Participant may participate only once and may only be eligible once to win the Prize.

1.3. Participation in the Contest is not permitted for: 
(i) persons who hold an internal position at Accent NV, its branches, its partners or their branches, or with any other company cooperating in the organization or distribution of the Contest, and 
(ii) persons who have a direct relationship with the aforementioned persons (relatives in ascending or descending line, spouses, brothers and sisters).

1.4. In the event of a violation of the above-mentioned rules, the Participant will be immediately, automatically and without prior notice disqualified.

 

ARTICLE 2 – CONTEST

2.1. The Contest is offered free of charge to the Participants and participation is not linked to any purchase obligation.

2.2. The Contest is organized from 9 February 2026 until 5 April 2026 at 5:30 p.m. and consists of one round after which the winner is selected based on the contest conditions and the answer to the Contest Question.

On 10 April 2026, an employee of Accent will announce the winner via a personal message by email. The Contest is a competition in which Participants can win a Kadonation gift voucher with a value of EUR 2,500, the calculation and awarding modalities of which are determined in Article 5 of these Contest Rules. The Contest is accessible via the Contest Page.

The winner can only win the Prize described above.

2.3. Accent reserves the right to extend the Contest without prior notice. If Accent decides to extend the Contest, a communication will be posted on the Contest Page.

Accent also expressly reserves the right to end the Contest at any time earlier than provided for in these Contest Rules, at its own discretion.

 

ARTICLE 3 – HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

3.1. The official Contest Page is accessible via the Contest Page.

3.2. During the Duration, the Participant can participate in the Contest by: 
– visiting the Contest Page; 
– completing the form on the Contest Page and thereby registering and enrolling for the Contest; 
– answering the Contest Question; 
– meeting the contest conditions; 
– accepting the Contest Rules; 
– having read and understood the Privacy Policy.

3.3. By registering and answering the Contest Question and meeting the contest conditions, each Participant will be eligible once for the Prize when the Contest has ended.

3.4. All answers uploaded by the Participants must comply with applicable legislation as well as with the general rules of decency. Accent always reserves the right to remove materials from the Contest Page if, at its own discretion, it considers that there is reason to do so. Accent Construct does not have to inform the Participant concerned and shall in no event owe any compensation.

3.5. Any participation in the Contest by correspondence or in any other form than via the Contest Page provided by Accent is excluded.

 

ARTICLE 4 – SELECTION OF THE WINNERS

4.1. At the end of the Contest, the five Participants who have met all conditions of the Contest Rules and whose answer is closest to the correct answer to the Contest Question (hereinafter: “the Winners”) will win.

In the event of an ex aequo, the time of submission will be taken into account, whereby the Participant who answered first will win.

4.2. Within 7 days after selection, the Winners will be personally informed, by email or by telephone. When receiving the message, the Winners must contact Accent. Participants who do not win a Prize will not receive any letter or notification informing them that they have not won a Prize.

 

ARTICLE 5 – PRIZES

5.1. The Prize consists of one Kadonation gift voucher with a value of EUR 2,500. This means that: 
• this gift voucher can only be used at Colruyt Group NV.

5.2. The Prize cannot be withdrawn or exchanged, nor exchanged for cash or currency, and cannot be transferred to another person.

5.3. Accent reserves the right, in the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, to replace the offered Prize with a similar prize of equal value.

 

ARTICLE 6 – DISQUALIFICATION, SUSPENSION OR CANCELLATION

6.1. Any violation of these Contest Rules or any fraud leads to the disqualification of the Participant. Accent may disqualify a Participant in the event of clear and reasonably well-founded suspicions of a violation of these Contest Rules.

6.2. Participants who have been disqualified may no longer participate in the Contest. Decisions of Accent in this respect are final and not subject to appeal.

6.3. Accent reserves the right to shorten, suspend, modify or cancel the Contest for any reason independent of its will or in the event of force majeure making it impossible to continue the Contest in accordance with these Contest Rules, including in the event of poor functioning of the Internet or any other problem related to telecommunications networks, computers or servers, Internet providers, IT systems or computer programs.

6.4. Accent also reserves the right to shorten, suspend or extend the Contest at its own discretion and judgment.

6.5. Where a modification or suspension occurs pursuant to Articles 6.3 or 6.4, Accent will clearly post a communication regarding such modification or suspension on the Contest Page.

6.6. If the Contest Rules are modified by Accent, the Participants will receive a communication of this modification. They will then have the choice between continuing to participate or withdrawing from the Contest.

 

ARTICLE 7 – LIABILITY

7.1. All disputes or complaints relating to the Contest must be addressed exclusively to Accent.

7.2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable legislation, Accent is only liable for the direct damage proven by the Participant that is the direct result of the non-performance by Accent or its appointees of the essential obligations that form the subject of these Contest Rules, intent, or inexcusable gross fault.

Moreover, the total liability of Accent for all damages that a Participant may suffer is limited to an amount of EUR 1,000.00.

7.3. Accent is not liable for direct or indirect damage that occurs in the context of participation in the Contest, of any nature and with any cause, origin or consequences, even if it has been warned of the risk of such damage, including damage caused as a result of: 
– an interruption or poor functioning of the Internet or of a Participant’s computer or any other problem related to telecommunications networks, computers or servers, Internet providers, IT systems or computer programs; 
– access by anyone to the Contest Page or the impossibility of obtaining access to the Contest Page; 
– use of the Contest Page, including any deviation or virus that may infect and/or damage the Participant’s IT equipment or other goods.

7.4. If the Contest were to be ended as a result of the behavior of one of the Participants, Accent reserves the right to claim compensation for the damage suffered.

7.5. Accent offers no guarantees regarding the usability or suitability of the Prize for any purpose whatsoever. Accent cannot be held liable for the use of the Prize, nor for malfunction or execution of the Prize, nor for any damage, whether direct or indirect, directly or indirectly caused by the Prize.

7.6. Outside cases of gross or intentional fault, neither Accent, nor its staff, nor any third party it has engaged for the organization of the Contest can be held liable for any damage of any nature that would arise in connection with participation in or organization of the Contest, the designation of the Winners and the allocation or non-allocation of the Prize. The liability of the parties mentioned in this paragraph cannot in any case be increased as a result of any modification, suspension or termination of the Contest.

Compensation for damage caused by the non-performance of a contractual obligation by an auxiliary of Accent can, within the legal limits, only be grounds for a contractual liability claim against Accent and not grounds for a non-contractual liability claim against the auxiliary, even when the event at the origin of the damage also constitutes a wrongful act.

7.7. The Participant is solely responsible for the content of the answers that he/she uploads to the Contest Page. The Participants guarantee that the submitted answers do not infringe the rights of third parties and will therefore fully indemnify and hold Accent harmless against any claim of a third party against Accent.

7.8. Accent cannot in any case be held liable for the content of the Contest Page and the submitted answers, nor for the unlawful use thereof.

 

ARTICLE 8 – ACCEPTANCE

Participation in the Contest implies full knowledge and irrevocable acceptance without reservation of these Contest Rules. By participating in the Contest, the Participant accepts all provisions of the Contest Rules, as well as any decision that Accent may have to take.

 

ARTICLE 9 – PRIVACY

9.1. During and after the Contest, the Participant provides personal data to Accent.

Accent processes these personal data with respect for the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, implementing, supplementing and executing European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter: the “GDPR”) and the Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications.

Accent processes the Participant’s personal data with due care and confidentiality, in accordance with its Privacy Policy (available on the website www.accentjobs.be). The Participant declares having read and understood the Privacy Policy.

9.2. The controller of the personal data of the Participants is Accent NV, Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare.

9.3. The personal data concerned include the surname, first name, company name, email address, telephone number and postal code of the Participant. The personal data are collected for the purpose of ensuring the proper course of the Contest, in particular the possibility to contact the Participants regarding their participation, to hand over the Prize in an efficient manner and to mention the name and the winning answer of the Winners on the Website and on the Facebook, TikTok or Instagram page of Accent, as well as to help the Participants search for a suitable job.

9.4. The Participants guarantee that they provide personal data to Accent in a lawful manner and will therefore fully indemnify and hold Accent harmless against any claim of a third party against Accent due to unlawful processing of that party’s personal data.

9.5. Each Participant has certain rights with regard to the processing of his/her personal data:

Right of access and inspection: the Participant has the right to take free knowledge at any time of his/her personal data, as well as of the use that Accent makes of these personal data.

Right of rectification, erasure and restriction: the Participant is free to communicate or not communicate his/her personal data to Accent. In addition, the Participant always has the right to request Accent to rectify, supplement or erase his/her personal data (in the cases provided for by the GDPR). The Participant acknowledges that in the event of refusal of communication or request for erasure of personal data, certain services and products cannot be provided. The Participant may also request the restriction of the processing of his/her personal data. The participation of the Participant who requests full or partial erasure of his/her data before the end of the Contest, such that Accent can no longer contact this Participant, will be declared invalid and this Participant cannot be eligible for the Prize.

Right to object: the Participant also has the right to object to the processing of his/her personal data for serious and legitimate reasons (in the cases provided for by the GDPR). In addition, the Participant always has the right to object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in such case no reasons must be provided.

Right to data portability: the Participant has the right to obtain his/her personal data processed by Accent in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to transfer them to other controllers (in the cases provided for by the GDPR).

Right to withdraw consent: insofar as the processing is based on prior consent, the Participant has the right to withdraw that consent. The participation of the Participant who withdraws his/her consent before the end of the Contest will be declared invalid and this Participant cannot be eligible for the Prize.

The exercise of these rights can be done by contacting Accent by post, by sending a letter with a copy of an identity document to: Accent NV, Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare.

 

ARTICLE 10 – DISPUTE

10.1. Disputes or complaints concerning the present Contest must be delivered within 8 days by letter to: Accent NV, Beversesteenweg 576, 8800 Roeselare.

10.2. The Participant undertakes, in case of discussion concerning the application or interpretation of the present Contest Rules, to first pursue an amicable solution in consultation with Accent before starting judicial proceedings.

10.3. With regard to the choice of a winner, no dispute will be accepted.

10.4. All decisions of Accent within the framework of this Contest are final, irrevocable and binding. No appeal is possible against these decisions.

10.5. When one of the provisions of these Contest Rules would be considered null or invalid, the other provisions of these Contest Rules remain fully in force.

10.6. The present Contest Rules, as well as the course of the Contest itself, are subject to Belgian law.

10.7. The courts and tribunals of Kortrijk are exclusively competent to take cognizance of disputes concerning the formation, validity, execution, compliance with and interpretation of the present Contest Rules.
