G&V Energy Group seeks shop employees for a cool break
G&V petrol stations are a friendly place to pause at when you’re on a journey. These shops provide a nice, pleasant break for everyone on the road. There you’ll find the most welcoming shop staff serving customers with a smile. You’ll encounter a team of colleagues who love being active, enjoy helping customers, go about preparing sandwiches or snacks with enthusiasm and like a good laugh now and then. And it’s obvious.

After 22 years of loyal service, every day at G&V is different; the diversity of assignments and tasks makes for exciting workdays. Every single day, I learn things and face new challenges that I really enjoy immersing myself in.
I was given great opportunities to progress from a restaurant worker in one petrol station to Assistant Site Manager in another. “Initiative is rewarded” is the right motto for this. It’s partly because of the guidance and proper coaching and training that I’ve received that I am now the Site Manager of our shop in Ghent.
I love passing on my knowledge to my team so that we can evolve for the better and continue to grow in the future.

We all know the petrol stations we stop at on a journey for a little break, a quick snack, a delicious coffee or a trip to the conveniences. G&V is giving that shopping experience a facelift with its new Breakpoint shops. In 2020, with a healthy and sustainable focus, the G&V Energy Group decided to transform the 24 classic shops into trendy places. There are currently 9 Breakpoints and 15 classic shops with a Breakpoint bakery. Enjoy a fresh breakfast, a healthy lunch, a sweet or savoury snack or a delicious coffee, on the go or in one of the cosy coffee corners. In the future, all shops will be given the welcoming, high-quality Breakpoint makeover.
