Description de l'emploi
As a pastry chef you will be crafting sweet pastries and desserts. Here is a concise list of your main duties:
Create and refine recipes for pastries, desserts, and treats
Measure and mix ingredients, and prepare different types of dough and batter
Bake a variety of sweet goods, monitoring closely for perfection
Decorating cakes and pastries with icing, chocolate, fruit, and decorative elements
Ensure ingredients and finished products meet high standards
Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, including equipment
Manage stock to prevent waste and ensure ingredient availability
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain an efficient workflow
Uphold food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
A pastry chef must be creative, have a strong sense of taste and aesthetics, and often work early mornings to prepare fresh products
