As a formworker, you work on concrete constructions such as walls, beams, and floor slabs. You create and place formwork for walls, beams, and floor slabs. You perform both traditional formwork and system formwork, including Peri and Doka, and work with exposed concrete where necessary. You place prefab elements at the construction site. You move materials with the crane and manually, depending on the activities at the site. You read plans and build supports and scaffolding for the constructions based on them. You contribute to the preparation of the basic structure, such as excavation pits and foundations, while ensuring the site remains safe.

Your duties as a formwork carpenter will include:Setting up and inspecting formwork and reinforcement;Pouring and compacting concrete;Grinding and making concrete stairs.Reading and understanding technical plans.Finishing concrete stairs and elements. 

Formworker (workshop)

As a formworker, you work daily on concrete structures on the construction site.You make formwork for walls, beams and floor slabs and place prefab elements.You carry out traditional formwork and system formwork with systems such as Peri and Doka and, where necessary, work with fair-faced concrete.You move materials with the crane and by hand to allow the work on the construction site to run smoothly.You read plans and based on them build supports and scaffolding for the structures.You help with excavations and foundations as a basis for further concrete work.Together with your colleagues, you monitor safety on the construction site and ensure a safe workplace during execution.
