Functieomschrijving

As an electromechanical tower crane repairer with our client, you will be responsible for the following tasks:


  • Install and carry out electrical maintenance on cranes on site or in the workshop

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on tower cranes

  • Carry out regular electrical tests to ensure crane safety

  • Work in collaboration with other team members (remotely) to solve the challenges encountered during breakdowns

  • Carry out mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs

  • Drive the company van from one worksite to another

  • Establish follow-ups and complete documents

  • Carry out electrical connections and wiring

  • Perform minor mechanical maintenance

  • Troubleshoot and repair faults independently on worksites

  • Follow instructions and report regularly to your superiors

  • Read industrial electrical and mechanical diagrams

  • Demonstrate logical thinking skills

  • Apply the procedures learnt during your in-house training

  • Work at heights of up to 60 metres (in the cab or on platforms, not in a vacuum)


Jouw profiel


For the position of crane repair electrician, our client is preferably looking for a candidate with experience or training in industrial electricity or electromechanics, but any relevant experience will be considered, regardless of the sector.

As a talent with our client, you must be comfortable working at height, which will make up around 80% of your working time.
There is also the possibility of working more in the warehouse.

The breakdown service requires flexibility in terms of hours and tasks to be carried out during the day.

You'll need a B driving licence and a car, as the warehouse is not accessible by public transport. Eventually, you will have a company van at your disposal.
